Sue Sierralupe graduated from the University of Oregon with a BA in English with an eye towards writing. She worked for many years as a social worker until she entered the world of professional herbalism. She earned her certificate as a master herbalist under tearned her certificate as a master herbalist with Tieraona Low Dog, MD. She is certified through OSU Extension as a botanical identification and sustainable landscape educator. She has worked in the herbal field with both Wise Woman Herbals and Terra Firma Botanicals. She is currently working as the Clinic Manager for the free holistic clinic, Occupy Medical in downtown Eugene, Oregon.

Daphne Singingtree began her study of herbal medicine in 1970, practiced midwifery from 1974 to 2002. She is the author of the BIrthsong Midwifery Workbook. and Training Midwives: a Guide for Preceptors. She studied Natural Medicine at Instituto Naturista in Antigua, Guatemala in 1975. She is founder of the Oregon School of Midwifery and Aviva College. She has a Masters in Education with a concentration in Learning Technology from Ashford University.   She currently is the Director at TreeVisions Education, and is the owner of Eagletree Herbs.
