Courses offer the convenience and flexibility of distance learning, with structured deadlines to keep you on track, combined with hands-on weekly workshops facilitated by experienced faculty and guest instructors.   Most coursework is online using our highly interactive and innovative distance learning model, complete with video, online quizzes, additional reading, and resource sharing. A certificate of completion is given with the successfully passing of the course. Certificate can be used as part of the Holistic Community Health Worker program, or as an entry point to other certification programs but does not license or certify you to be a herbalist

Workshops are held at in the Santa Clara area of Eugene, Oregon.

These courses are part of the upcoming Holistic Community Health Certification program which will be starting Fall 2013  We are currently affiliated with the Natural Healing College.

Edible and Medicinal Plants of the West by Gregory Tilford.

 

Sue Sierralupe earned her certificate as a master herbalist with Tieraona Low Dog, MD. She is certified through OSU Extension as a botanical identification and sustainable landscape educator. She has worked with both Wise Woman Herbals and Terra Firma Botanicals. She currently works as the Clinic Manager for Occupy Medical.

Daphne Singingtree began her study of herbal medicine in 1970, practiced midwifery from 1974 to 2002. She is the author of the BIrthsong Midwifery Workbook. She studied Natural Medicine at Instituto Naturista in Antigua, Guatemala. She is founder of the Oregon School of Midwifery and Aviva College, and Eagletree Herbs.
